Busting EV myths: Do they really catch fire that often?

Electric vehicles on fire is a fairly common sight in the news, but that doesn’t actually mean they’re more likely to spark up than a combustion-powered vehicle. They draw more attention because electric fires are far nastier and more destructive than regular fires, but also because EVs are still a relatively new thing in the world, and anything out of the ordinary draws our interest.
